The name, Bvlgari, was created by Greek jeweler Sotiro Voulgaris. Started off as a jewellery store in Rome in 1884, their jewellery was well received by the upper class consumers and the business has flourished since then. Bvlgari decided to expand their business and founded Bvlgari perfume in 1990s. They launched their first perfume in Switzerland in 1992 and throughout the years, Bvlgari perfumes have been popular among many customers. This results them to become one of the prominent competitor in the perfume market.

Bvlgari Eau Parfumee au The Vert was launched in 1992 and is known as a unisex perfume. It has a prominent citrus opening with a slight floral scent due to the fruit and floral mixture as the top notes. The floral scent then intensifies with a slight sweetness start to reveal itself from the mixture of rose, lily of the valley and jasmine when the fragrance reaches its middle notes. The fragrance is then ended with a distinct woody scent with a hint of spiciness from the base notes mixture.
The perfume releases a light, clean and fresh fragrance which is most suitable for summer or hot climate. It gives a refreshing feeling to the wearer, distracting them away from the heat, allowing them to look calm and focus.
